I'm thinking about boudoir but I'm nervous or don't feel secure in my body...
I totally get that! Most people come into a boudoir session a little nervous and sometimes insecure. It's a vulnerable thing! But in vulnerability comes strength. And honestly, I am a firm believer that if you are in a time in your life where you are feeling insecure about your body, it's the BEST time to do boudoir. Let me show you your beauty- and leave feeling bold, empowered, and loving yourself again!
Do you share my images?
Your privacy is the highest priority. Especially with photos that are as intimate as boudoir. I will never share images without your consent! If there are photos I would like to share of you on my website or private Facebook group, I will ask you first. And we will discuss what exactly you are comfortable sharing (no identifying features, covering tattoos, etc.) or no sharing at all.
How do I know what to wear? Do I need to buy lingerie?
I am here for you 100% of the way! By the end of your shoot we will know each other so well, in the best way. I can send you inspiration and outfit guides if you would like, and any booking you make with me will grant you access to my client closet. I have lingerie in sizes XS-4XL. So you do not have to buy lingerie if you don't want to!
Do you have payment plans?
A nonrefundable deposit is required to book your spot for the studio. But after that, you are free to make payments in any increments you wish before your shoot. The full balance just needs to be paid before your session. If you have any questions, please reach out!
Will you photoshop my images?
I do edit images for lighting and color balance to match my style, but I do not edit or remove anything permanent. I am happy to edit out a blemish or bruise that is temporary, but the parts of you that are YOU- stay. It's such an important part of the process to see YOU, and see yourself for the beauty you are. Changing your appearance in any way will go against that process and I think do more harm than good.
Now, we will absolutely discuss if you are insecure about anything in particular and we can use poses and lighting that accentuates you in the best way. But my mission is ultimately to help you to love and accept yourself as you are. Trust me, it will be worth it!
How do I prepare for my shoot?
Day of our session, it's best to wear baggy clothing, without a bra if you can. This way you won't have any lines or imprints on your skin from your clothing.
Other than that, there is not much you need to do. Just show up as yourself! I will be available along the way from prebooking to getting your album back (any beyond) so you can always reach out to me for questions, advice, or to calm your nerves.
